"But I Have Two Left Feet..."
Anyone can learn to dance. Many people considering dance lessons say they have two left feet. This could not be further from the truth. We invite you to attend our dance parties (which are open to the public) to observe scores of accomplished dancers who started with "two left feet."
At our dances you will see all levels of dancers from the beginner to the accomplished. It's a great place to make new friends and have a great time. See our Calendar Page for coming events. All you need to do is to put yourself in the hands of our competent instructor and soon you'll be gliding across the dance floor. Puttin' on the Ritz Dance Studio can take you from beginners level to advanced. You can learn to Burn the Floor with sexy Latin American dances like Cha Cha, Mambo, Samba or Rhumba. Learn elegance from the Waltz to the Fox Trot and gain confidence in an atmosphere where we focus on helping you learn the art of dance.
No Contracts!
At Puttin' on the Ritz Dance Studio we do not have contracts or high pressure sales techniques. We offer a Pay-As-You-Go method of payment. We pride ourselves in offering the highest quality instruction at the lowest possible price. That's it, no pressure! Let's dance and have a really good time!
What Kind of Lessons?
We offer all aspects of dance from Ballroom to Tap to Line to Ballet - from the casual social dancer to the more advanced (serious) dancers.
We teach choreographed patterns for Ballroom and Latin styles of dancing. Patterns allow you to advance more quickly and look like you have been dancing for years in a few short weeks!
Ballroom and Latin Dance Styles Include:
Swing, Lindy, Hustle, Waltz, Foxtrot, Polka, Rhumba, Cha-Cha,
Tango, Bosa Nova, Samba, Merengue and Salsa (Mambo).
We Also Have Classes Specializing In:
Tap, Jazz, Ballet and Line Dancing.

New Classes Are Always Starting
Simply decide what type lesson is right for you.
We offer both Group or Private lessons.
Group Lessons
Group instruction, offers the opportunity to mix with others and gain experience in a Group environment. Classes usually consist of groups from 4 to 10 couples. If you do not have a dance partner, we can find you one. Our choreographed patterns have you dancing right away. We also have pocket-sized cue cards to help you remember what you have learned when you are practicing away from the studio.
Private Lessons
Private lessons are a great way to learn to dance. They offer the advantage of more personal attention to one's individual needs and a one-on-one approach to understanding dancing.
